Elvis Andrus Clears The Fences For First Time In 2020
4 years agoTexas Rangers shortstop Elvis Andrus hit a game-tying home run in the top of the ninth off Ryan Pressly to spark a comeback win over the Houston Astros. Andrus was 1-for-4 on the night but made his only hit count. It was the first home run of the season for Andrus during a miserable campaign. The two-time All-Star is slashing .188/.244/.288 on the season and is not worth a roster spot in any size of mixed format. Keep an eye on his box score for the next couple of games in case this sparks something in the 32-year-old, but tonight could be a flash in the pan for the shortstop.
