Elvis Andrus Clubs 10th Homer Of Season
5 years agoTexas Rangers shortstop Elvis Andrus went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in a loss to the White Sox Thursday. Andrus was the Rangers offense in this one as they could only get three hits off Ross Detwiler and the bullpen. It was a rare homer for the shortstop, but he's been valuable to fantasy owners in other ways. He is batting .282 with 63 runs scored and his 25 stolen bases rank fifth in the majors. He's struggled a bit in the second half with a .236 average but seems to be breaking out of that with a hit in eight of his last nine games. He should be back in fantasy lineups this weekend with some good matchups against the White Sox pitching staff.
