Elvis Andrus Collects Two Hits In Victory Over Rangers
3 years agoOakland Athletics shortstop Elvis Andrus went 2-for-3 with a walk, and RBI, and a run scored in a win over the Rangers on Saturday. The veteran shortstop needed a game like this as he had just one hit in his previous 15 at-bats coming into the game. Andrus is batting just .233 with a .283 on-base percentage this season as he is no longer a fantasy asset at the shortstop position. He'll provide solid defense while giving the A's good at-bats from the nine-hole in the batting order, but fantasy managers can leave Andrus on waivers.
