Elvis Andrus Exits With Hamstring Injury Tuesday
6 years agoTexas Rangers shortstop Elvis Andrus left Tuesday’s game with tightness in his right hamstring. There is no timetable for his return at this time and he will be evaluated on Wednesday. Andrus has been great to begin the season, slashing .325/.373/.510 with six home runs and eight steals. It would be a tough blow to fantasy owners if he is out for an extended period, however, shortstop is much deeper than it has been in previous years. Even if he doesn’t miss much time, temper your expectations for steals going forward and hope for good news later today.
