Elvis Andrus Finding Power Stroke
2 years agoOakland Athletics shortstop Elvis Andrus went deep again in an 8-3 loss to the Houston Astros Friday. He was 1-for-3 at the plate with a two-run shot. Andrus has now hit three home runs in his last seven games, bringing his total for the season to six to go with four stolen bases. Andrus is no top fantasy option, with just a .675 OPS to his name in 282 plate appearances. In a pinch, though, fantasy managers could do worse than a middle infielder who bats in the middle third of the lineup who can add a little bit across all offensive categories.
