Elvis Andrus Launches First Homer Of 2021
3 years agoOakland Athletics shortstop Elvis Andrus went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in a loss to the Red Sox on Friday. The homer was Andrus' first of the season as his power has vanished in his first season in Oakland. The veteran shortstop was never an elite power hitter, but he was always good for a few dingers back in his Rangers days. This season, Andrus is slugging an anemic .304 and his 0.77 ISO is his lowest mark since 2014. He does have seven steals making him an intriguing middle-infield option in AL-Only leagues, but Andrus should be left on waivers in the majority of fantasy formats.
