4 years agoTexas Rangers shortstop Elvis Andrus is not among the starting nine for Tuesday’s contest against San Diego and left-hander Adrian Morejon. Andrus’ absence marks his second day in a row not in the lineup, although Monday was planned to be a day of rest for the veteran. Isiah Kiner-Falefa will again hold down the shortstop spot with Andrus out of the mix. While there has been no announcement as it pertains to a potential injury to the Rangers’ everyday shortstop, his .494 OPS across his first 20 games makes him an avoidable fantasy commodity at this stage.--Jesse Borek
