3 years agoOakland Athletics shortstop Elvis Andrus has been reinstated from the paternity list and is batting ninth on Tuesday versus RHP Reynaldo Lopez and the White Sox. Andrus has had a rough first season in Oakland as he's batting just .231 with a .587 OPS. He's striking out 16.6% of the time which is much better than league-average, but still represents a career-worst for Andrus. More whiffs combined with his lowest hard-hit and walk rates since 2016, however, mean Andrus isn't much of a fantasy option these days.--Mike Schwarzenbach - RotoBaller
