Elvis Andrus Steals First Bag Of Spring Training
5 years agoTexas Rangers shortstop Elvis Andrus stole his first base of spring training on Saturday against the Chicago White Sox. Andrus finished the day 1-for-2 and is now batting .500 through three spring training games. The two-time All-Star has stolen at least 24 bases in five of the previous six seasons and cracked the 30 stolen bases barrier last season for the first time since 2013. Owners can count on the Venezuelan to contribute a useful batting average (career .275 average) and 25 stolen bases to your team in 2020, but not a lot in the home run or RBI categories.
