4 years agoOakland Athletics shortstop Elvis Andrus went 1-for-2 with a walk and two stolen bases in a win over the Twins on Tuesday. The steals were the first ones for Andrus this season as he's gotten off to a miserable start in his first year with Oakland. Andrus' hit today raised his batting average to an icy .140 with the walk raising his on-base percentage up to .190. The A's have their third-ranked prospect waiting at their alternate site in shortstop Nick Allen so the pressure is on Andrus to turn things around soon.
