5 years agoTexas Rangers shortstop Elvis Andrus went 1-for-3 with a walk and a run scored in Tuesday's 9-4 home loss against the Texas Rangers. He also swiped three bases to give him 19 thefts this season, and he stole home for the league-leading third time this season. He has stolen home seven times in his career, and the only player who has done it more since 1974 is Hall of Famer Paul Molitor (11 times). Andrus is now slashing .309/.347/.456. He'll look to keep up the good work in Wednesday's game against RHP Griffin Canning and the Angels in Game 2 of the series.--Daniel Dobish
