3 years agoCleveland Indians relief pitcher Emmanuel Clase earned the save in the Indians 3-1 win over the White Sox Monday. Clase struck out the side in this one while allowing one hit to record his ninth save on the season. He looked much better than James Karinchak did in game one of the doubleheader, but both relief arms are still likely be used in save situations moving forward and this just happened to be Clase's turn. He will carry a 1.14 ERA and 24 strikeouts across 23 2/3 innings pitched into his next appearance.--Kipp Heisterman - RotoBaller
