3 years agoCleveland Indians relief pitcher Emmanuel Clase recorded his eighth save on Monday in a 6-5 win over the Detroit Tigers. Unfortunately, it was another rocky save for Clase as allowed two walks (one intentional) and a single before finally retiring the side. Clase and James Karinchak have gone back and forth this season with save opportunities and that appears to be the case as we continue into the middle of the summer as well. Clase now has a .83 ERA on the season, but also has a rough 1.43 WHIP to go along with 21 strikeouts in 21 1/3 innings pitched. He still needs to be rostered in all league formats.--Kipp Heisterman - RotoBaller
