4 years agoCleveland Indians relief pitcher Emmanuel Clase recorded his fifth save in Friday night's 5-3 win over the Chicago White Sox. Clase faced the 7-1 hitters in this one as he allowed a leadoff single to Luis Robert to begin the ninth before retiring the next three hitters he faced. This appears to be the theme moving forward where Clase will face the lower part of the order late in the game and James Karinchak will face the meat of the order as he pitched against the 4-6 hitters in the bottom of the eighth inning in this one.
