4 years agoCleveland Indians relief pitcher Emmanuel Clase recorded his sixth save Monday night by allowing one hit and striking out one in the ninth inning of Monday night's 8-6 win over the Kansas City Royals. This was a different type of save for Clase as he was brought in to face the 4-7 hitters while James Karinchak faced the top of the order in the eighth inning, so it is great to see he continued to have success. He still boasts a 0.00 ERA on the season and has 14 strikeouts across 13 1/3 innings pitched.--Kipp Heisterman - RotoBaller
