4 years agoNew Orleans Saints wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders posted just 15 receiving yards on three catches in Week 1. Sanders managed to salvage his day a bit with a late touchdown, though it was not a great performance. All of the Saints pass-catchers not named Alvin Kamara or Jared Cook seemed to struggle in this one, a game head coach Sean Payton called one of his worst as a play-caller. It's reasonable to give Payton and the Saints the benefit of the doubt, especially in a season with no preseason games. Sanders gets a prime bounce-back spot in Week 2 against a beatable Raiders defensive backfield.--Tim Capurso
