5 years agoAtlanta Braves outfielder Ender Inciarte will begin a rehab assignment with the High-A affiliate Florida team Monday as he works his way back from a back strain. He's been shelved since May 15 after slashing and underwhelming .218/.300/.323 with two homers and three thefts in 40 games. With Austin Riley still hitting well and improving defensively, Inciarte will likely be relegated to a fourth outfield option upon his return. He'll need a few at-bats to get back up to speed so he'll likely return when the Braves come out of the All-Star break late next week. With his role up in the air, and his bat not producing anyway, he can be safely ignored in all formats.--Riley Mrack - RotoBaller
