Eno Benjamin Viewed As "Lock" For RB2 Role
2 years agoArizona Cardinals running back Eno Benjamin is viewed as a "lock" to win the backup running back job out of training camp, according to Blake Murphy of Revenge of the Birds. Benjamin has been competing with veteran Darrel Williams for the No. 2 role behind incumbent starter James Conner. The backup role became vacant when Chase Edmonds departed for Miami this past offseason. Benjamin hasn't seen much usage throughout two pro seasons, totaling just 118 rushing yards, 42 receiving yards, and one touchdown. However, he has looked great throughout camp, and it appears that his time has come to climb to No. 2 on the depth chart.
