4 years agoNew Boston Red Sox acquisition Kike Hernandez hit his first home run with the club on Thursday, helping the Red Sox to a 7-3 win over the Baltimore Orioles. Hernandez had struggled in his first week with the Red Sox, posting just a .448 OPS over his first six games with the team. Hernandez was never projected to be an elite offensive contributor, but nobody was expecting him to look as overmatched as he has this past week. Fantasy managers can only hope that this is the first step to Hernandez breaking out of his slump.--Daniel Fox
