7 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies pitching prospect Enyel De Los Santos went 5 2/3 innings Saturday for Triple-A Lehigh Valley. De Los Santos struck out eight batters and issued two walks. He also gave up five hits and two runs (one earned). De Los Santos was acquired from the Padres as part of a package for shortstop Freddy Galvis this offseason. The right-hander is still developing his curveball as his third pitch and will likely need to achieve that if he wants to start at the next level. He now has a 1.98 ERA in his first three starts of the year.--Daniel Burdeen - RotoBaller
