Enyel De Los Santos To Start Sunday
6 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies starting pitcher Enyel De Los Santos will make his first Major League start of the season Sunday vs the Marlins. De Los Santos made two MLB starts last season, and was pitching to a 3.28 ERA in 35 2/3 innings with Triple-A Lehigh Valley so far this season. He has an impressive 44 strikeouts to 13 walks in the minors and has an above average 11.5 swinging strike rate. Despite those numbers, he is carrying a 5.25 FIP which suggests he's been a bit lucky up to this point and his .247 BABIP against is sure to be higher at the Big League Level. A good matchup with Miami makes him a decent streaming option in deep or NL only leagues but most mixed league owners don't need to rush to add the 23-year-old righty.
