Equanimeous St. Brown's Breakout Not On Horizon
6 years agoGreen Bay Packers rookie wide receiver Equanimeous St. Brown has flashed at points this year and demonstrated the athleticism that led many to think he could be a top wide receiver before the draft. More commonly however, he has demonstrated why he eventually fell in the draft. He has struggled with route running and doesn’t play quite as big as his size. The likely absence of wide receiver Randall Cobb means that St. Brown should see a lot of snaps on Thursday night against the Seattle Seahawks in Week 11. St. Brown has seen similar opportunities this year, but rarely sees any targets go his way. It is a sign of miscommunication and a lack of confidence from quarterback Aaron Rodgers. There is no reason to think St. Brown’s volume will be any different in Week 11. St. Brown is not a fantasy relevant player in redraft leagues. He should only be rostered in sufficiently deep dynasty leagues. Regardless of league format, he should not be started.
