6 years agoSeattle Mariners starter Erasmo Ramirez will look to make it three strong starts in a row when he takes the mound against the Diamondbacks. Ramirez rejoined the rotation on August 12 and has allowed only one run through 10 innings during his first two starts with six strikeouts. Ramirez started 11 games last season for the Mariners and went 1-3 with a 3.92 ERA and a 1.16 WHIP after being acquired by the Rays. The Diamondbacks feature a potent offense and the Mariners are hoping Ramirez can keep their playoff hopes alive for another week.
