3 years agoDetroit Tigers catcher Eric Haase isn't in the starting lineup on Monday for a matchup with the Boston Red Sox and right-hander Michael Wacha. Haase has appeared in all three of the Tigers' games so far this season, logging seven plate appearances. He's drawn a pair of walks and connected on a home run. Instead, it'll be Tucker Barnhart starting behind the dish and batting eighth against Wacha. The veteran hit .247 with a .317 on-base percentage and seven home runs in 388 plate appearances for the Cincinnati Reds last season.
