Eric Hosmer Exits Game With Finger Injury
4 years agoSan Diego Padres first baseman Eric Hosmer (finger) was removed from Monday’s clash against the Colorado Rockies after being hit by a pitch. Hosmer was nailed on the fingers attempting to bunt, striking out in the process. Mitch Moreland replaced the 30-year-old in the lineup. Hosmer is enjoying a renaissance season with an .886 OPS and eight homers. Fantasy managers should expect an update after the game. Moreland would see regular playing time if Hosmer misses any time.
