4 years agoSan Diego Padres first baseman Eric Hosmer went 1-for-4 and cracked another home run Sunday against the Arizona Diamondbacks. Hosmer went yard for the third time in four games in the sixth frame against reliever Junior Guerra with a two-run shot. Aside from 12 missed games with a stomach issue, Hosmer’s been on a tear slashing .282/.333/.641 with four homers, 18 runs-plus-RBI and a steal in 42 plate appearances. With notable improvements in launch angle and a strikeout rate of just 11 percent, Hosmer sports a solid .412 xwOBA. He’s firmly back on the fantasy radar.--Andrew Le - RotoBaller
