2 years agoSan Diego Padres first baseman Eric Hosmer went 5-for-12 with a walk, two doubles and a home run in the three-game series in New York against the Mets at Citi Field, a place he has fond memories after his Kansas City Royals clinched the 2015 World Series there. Hosmer has reached base safely in his last 12 games and is hitting .271 with a .750 OPS in his last 23 games to raise his season slash line to .277/.338/.393 with seven home runs, 39 RBI and 29 runs scored in 318 at-bats.
