7 years agoSan Diego Padres first baseman Eric Hosmer went 2-for-4 Tuesday against the San Francisco Giants, including the game-winning home run. Hosmer also tripled in the contest and is now hitting .563 in his last four games with five extra-base hits. Hosmer's counting stats have been slow to come by with only three homers, five RBI and 16 runs scored, but he's slashing a healthy .298/.402/.500. Hosmer batted second in each game since returning from family medical leave, which suits his skill set. He should continue being a valuable all-around contributor in most mixed leagues.--Andrew Le - RotoBaller
