4 years agoSan Diego Padres first baseman Eric Hosmer went 1-for-2 with a home run in Sunday's 4-3 loss to the Kansas City Royals. The blast marked Hosmer's first hit of the spring as he is now just 1-for-10 through his first four games. Hosmer missed a large chunk of September with a broken index finger, but was solid until that point by slashing .287/..333/.517 with nine home runs and 36 RBI. It was a solid rebound season for Hosmer and he could have a strong year in 2021 given the strength of the lineup around him. He currently has an ADP of 144 and could certainly provide a lot of value at the first base position.--Kipp Heisterman - RotoBaller
