2 years agoBoston Red Sox first baseman Eric Hosmer (knee) is out of the starting lineup on Wednesday against the Atlanta Braves. Hosmer left the game early on Tuesday with a bruised left knee and will take the day off on Wednesday as a result. For now, fantasy managers should consider him day-to-day. The 32-year-old has gone 2-for-12 with two doubles, one RBI and three runs scored in his first four games for Boston after being traded by the San Diego Padres at the Aug. 2 deadline. Bobby Dalbec will man the cold corner on Wednesday and hit eighth against Braves right-hander Kyle Wright. Dalbec has a lot of swing and miss to his game and is hitting just .203 (55-for-271) with 98 strikeouts, but he also has 11 home runs in 98 games played.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
