5 years agoSan Diego Padres first baseman Eric Hosmer went 1-for-5 with a grand slam and five RBI in Sunday’s loss to the Los Angeles Dodgers. Hosmer went deep with the bases juiced in the third inning and later added a sac fly. The 29-year-old is having a solid season, slashing .283/.333/.445 with 16 homers and 131 runs-plus-RBI. Hosmer entered the season with minimal fantasy hype after a disappointing 2018 but has been a consistent multi-category contributor.
