6 years agoAfter missing the past two games with a back injury, San Diego Padres first baseman Eric Hosmer is expected to return to the starting lineup on Monday against the Dodgers. Hosmer has been solid, yet unspectacular to start the season, hitting .288 with a home run and three RBI in 15 games. On Monday, he will face Hyun-Jin Ryu, a pitcher he has never faced before. However, the first baseman is hitting .294 with a home run and two RBI off lefties in 2018 and is a must-start in his return to the lineup.--Dan Fappiano
