6 years agoSan Diego Padres first baseman Eric Hosmer collected three hits and three RBI in Thursday's victory against the Miami Marlins. Hosmer is now batting .600 in his last four games (9-for-15) and his .282 average is the highest since May 7. Hosmer has been steady for the Padres and now has 24 RBI to go with six homers, 28 runs, three steals and an .834 OPS. He's gone between hot and cold spurts throughout the season, with his average fluctuating between .256 and .297 in May. While he makes a fine set-and-forget fantasy asset, owners would like to see more in the power department. Hosmer has gone 14 games without going yard.--Andrew Le - RotoBaller
