2 years agoMilwaukee Brewers starting pitcher Eric Lauer earned his eighth win of the season Friday night, throwing seven strong innings against the lowly Cincinnati Reds. Lauer gave up just one run on six hit and three walks with four strikeouts. He now has a 3.59 ERA and 1.22 WHIP with 111 strikeouts in 112 2/3 innings across 20 starts this season. Other than a troublesome June in which Lauer posted a 6.83 ERA, he's been a revelation. Fantasy managers can count on Lauer as a strong anchor in the rotation.--Doug Goldring - RotoBaller
