Eric Saubert Finds End Zone In Second Preseason Game
2 years agoDenver Broncos tight end Eric Saubert had the team's lone touchdown in the 42-15 loss to the Buffalo Bills on Saturday in the second preseason game. Saubert caught all three of his targets in the contest for only 17 yards and the score. The 28-year-old appeared in all 17 games in his first year in Denver in 2021 and had eight catches on 12 targets for 47 yards and one touchdown while working behind Noah Fant and Albert Okwuegbunam. Fant is now in Seattle, but rookie Greg Dulcich should be the No. 2 behind Okwuegbunam entering the 2022 season. Saubert will be more valuable to the Broncos as a blocker and as a special teams contributor, keeping him well off the fantasy radar.
