6 years agoMilwaukee Brewers infielder Eric Sogard has been called up to the MLB from Triple-A Colorado Springs Sky Sox. With Orlando Arcia being sent down to Triple-A to work on his game, the Brewers needed a utility infielder while Tyler Saladino takes a primary role at shortstop, which Sogard fulfills. In Triple-A, Sogard was only hitting .229 with a .567 OPS, so he'll most likely be the first one to get the cut when Arcia is eventually called back up. Sogard will hold no value in all formats.--Caden Inaba
