7 years agoMilwaukee Brewers first baseman Eric Thames (thumb) is awaiting doctor's confirmation to start hitting, however, he feels he is ready to start. Thames is roughly two and a half weeks into his six- to eight-week schedule, so he's still got a lot of time left to go before he could be back at the earliest. With Jesus Aguilar performing at an MLB level, it will be interesting to see how Thames' playing time is affected when he returns. He isn't a must-hold in shallow leagues, but he could be stashed in deeper leagues if you need power eventually.--Caden Inaba
