Eric Thames Drills Third Home Run Of The Year
7 years agoMilwaukee Brewers first baseman Eric Thames went 1-for-4, with a home run in the 5-2 loss to the Chicago Cubs. This game now puts Thames at a whopping .762 slugging percentage for the month of April, with all three of his home runs coming in the same month. After starting the season as a platoon against left-handed batters with Ryan Braun, the quality of play Thames is delivering may force Brewers manager Craig Counsell to re-think that decision. Thames should be owned in most leagues for his high home run potential.
