Eric Thames Has Five Home Runs In Last Seven Starts
7 years agoMilwaukee Brewers first baseman Eric Thames went 1-for-4 with a home run and two RBI in the 2-0 win over the Cincinnati Reds. Thames was responsible for 100 percent of the offense Tuesday, as his two-run shot proved to be the only scoring at-bat of the game. This now gives Thames five home runs in his last seven starts for the Brewers. He now has an astounding .633 slugging percentage and is continuing off the hot streak that he has had so far in April. Considering he started last year with an OPS of 1.276 in the month of April, it seems that he likes to come out of the gates hot. Continue to ride Thames while he's hot, as he's bound to cool down eventually.
