6 years agoMilwaukee Brewers first baseman Eric Thames (thumb) went 3-for-4 with a home run and three runs in a minor league rehab game with Triple-A Colorado Springs. With an appearance like this, it's almost certain that Thames is ready to go. In the upcoming days, expect Thames to be activated from the disabled list. When he is back, Jesus Aguilar, Ryan Braun and Domingo Santana will all lose playing time, as Thames will be playing more outfield upon returning due to the emergence of Aguilar as a solid first base option. He should be owned in most deep mixed leagues for his power stroke.--Caden Inaba
