6 years agoBrewers leadoff hitter Eric Thames hit the go-ahead home run in Thursday's game against Cincinnati. Thames smashed a three-run bomb in the top of the seventh inning to put the Brewers up by one. Milwaukee maintained the lead and went on to win the game behind powerful efforts from Thames and fellow slugger Jesus Aguilar. The three-run shot was the only hit Thames had for the day, as he went 1-for-4 before getting pulled later in the game for Hernan Perez's better defense.--Kev Mahserejian - RotoBaller
