7 years agoMilwaukee Brewers first baseman Eric Thames went 1-for-3 with a home-run, two RBI, and a strikeout in the 4-3 win over the Oakland Athletics. Thames has not been that hot this Spring Training so far, with a batting average of .182 and an OPS of .600. Despite Thames being the near guaranteed starting first baseman out of Spring Training, the emergence of Ji-Man Choi with a batting average of .394 and an OPS of 1.318 this spring could turn some heads in Choi's direction. Thames should be owned in majority of formats as his power potential is existent, however, he just needs to keep his consistency up.--Caden Inaba
