Erick Fedde Endures Eighth Loss Friday
3 years agoWashington Nationals starting pitcher Erick Fedde took his eighth loss of the season Friday, dropping his record to 4-8 on the year. He allowed five runs (four earned) on eight hits and one walk to the Atlanta Braves. He struck out three batters. Fedde has had plenty of bright spots this season, but this outing brings his ERA and WHIP for the year to 5.15 and 1.41, highlighting just how much he's struggled outside of those select strong moments. He's simply not a fantasy option going forward, especially on a depleted Washington team where wins will be hard to come by.
