Erick Fedde Will Start On Saturday For Nationals
3 years agoWashington Nationals right-hander Erick Fedde will take the mound as the team's starter on Saturday against the New York Mets, according to MLB.com's Jessica Camerato. The 29-year-old made 29 appearances for the Nationals last season, including 27 starts. Overall, he pitched to a 5.47 ERA and a 4.66 FIP in 133 1/3 innings. He also posted 128 strikeouts and 48 walks. Fedde is currently part of a rotation mix in Washington that also includes Patrick Corbin, Josiah Gray, Anibal Sanchez and Josh Rogers. Stephen Strasburg will also eventually return for the National League East club. Fedde is probably only an option in deeper fantasy leagues at the moment.
