4 years agoErik Jones drives pretty well for Richard Petty Motorsports in what most call an okay racing car. His ability to drive road courses can go somewhat under the radar. He has six top-ten finishes in 11 races. That includes three top-fives. A good road driver like Jones can negotiate his way through a field and Circuit Of The Americas features several strategic points to pass. It will be interesting to see where Jones ends up qualifying. If he is in the middle of the pack, a double-digit place differential becomes more likely. --Chris Wassel - RotoBaller
