5 years agoJoe Gibbs Racing driver Erik Jones steered his No. 20 Toyota to an eighth-place finish at the Toyota/Save Mart 350 at Sonoma Raceway on Sunday. After a slow spring, Jones is heating up with the weather. He was sixth at Dover, third at Kansas, third at Pocono and eighth this weekend, going Top 10 in four of his past six points races. He'll try to keep it rolling next Sunday at Chicagoland, where he recorded a sixth-place finish in 2018 after a 33rd-place showing in his debut in 2017.--Daniel Dobish
