6 years agoThe Indianapolis Colts promoted tight end Erik Swoope from the practice squad to the active roster on Saturday and waived cornerback Lenzy Pipkins in a corresponding move. The team also signed quarterback Phillip Walker to the practice squad. Swoope caught one pass for 13 yards in the season opener against the Bengals. He's merely depth for the Colts with Jack Doyle (hip) out for Week 3 against the Eagles. In Doyle's absence, Eric Ebron becomes a great TE1 play this weekend.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
