6 years agoNew York Mets starting pitcher Ervin Santana has been assigned to High-A St. Lucie. Santana had been working out in Port St. Lucie since signing with the Mets. Through three starts this season with the Chicago White Sox, Santana compiled a downright ugly 9.45 ERA and 1.88 WHIP, giving up 14 earned runs through only 13 innings pitched. This could be the end of the line for the 36-year-old if he doesn't manage to find his stuff and get the call-up. He can be safely ignored in all fantasy formats.--Joseph Magazzinich
