Ervin Santana Headed To Rochester For Rehab Start
6 years agoMinnesota Twins right-hander Ervin Santana (finger) will head to Triple-A Rochester to make his next rehab start. Team manager Paul Molitor said it was "not a consideration" to have Santana called up to the big leagues to make a start on Sunday. Santana has allowed three runs in seven innings over his rehab stint, which up until this point has been spent in the Twins' lower levels. The veteran hurler had finger surgery in February and has been on the disabled list all season. He could return to Minnesota's rotation after the All-Star break.
