Ervin Santana Pitches Three Innings In Rehab Start
6 years agoMinnesota Twins right-hander Ervin Santana (finger) allowed one run in three innings in his Saturday rehab start for the Class A Fort Myers Miracle. Santana gave up two hits and struck out two in the ballgame. Santana's fastball topped out at 90 MPH, about three MPH lower than what he has averaged in 2017. Santana had surgery on the middle finger of his throwing hand in February and has yet to make a start for the Twins in 2018. If he continues to progress, a mid-July return to the mound is likely.
